Actually, I've tried "farming" Treants in efforts to obtain a Bee shield but after hours and a few days, no luck. I had better luck with Hunter Hellquist. What matters is both are reliable sources in order to obtain a Bee shield. In the end, luck is another factor. Funny you mention that, I've had more luck with the Treants than Hunter Hellquist.
